Ozrie.

Disclaimer & Terms of Use

Last updated:

Ozrie is not professional advice. Ozrie is a self-reflection and communication tool. It is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, psychological, medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it does not diagnose, treat, or resolve any condition or dispute. Using Ozrie does not create a therapist–client, doctor–patient, attorney–client, or any other professional or fiduciary relationship. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional with any questions you may have.

1. What Ozrie is — and isn't

Ozrie helps two people map, compare, and talk about the invisible "mental load" in a relationship. The prompts, comparisons, "talking points," and any suggestions Ozrie generates are for general informational and self-reflection purposes only. They are produced automatically from the information you enter and are not reviewed by a licensed professional. They may not fit your situation, and they are not recommendations to take or avoid any particular action.

2. No reliance

You are responsible for your own decisions. Do not rely on Ozrie as the basis for decisions about your relationships, health, family, employment, finances, or legal matters. If a section of the app, a forum reply, or a directory listing appears to give advice, treat it as one person's or an automated tool's general perspective — not professional guidance tailored to you.

3. The community forum

The forum is an anonymous, moderated space where members share personal experiences and opinions. Posts and answers reflect their authors, not Ozrie, and are not verified for accuracy. Moderation reduces spam and abuse but cannot guarantee that content is correct, safe, or appropriate for you. Do not post confidential or identifying information about yourself or others. We may edit, remove, or decline to publish any submission at our discretion.

4. The support directory

Listings in the support directory are provided for convenience only and are not an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of any provider's qualifications, licensing, or results. Some listings are paid partnerships, clearly labeled, and Ozrie may earn a commission if you use them — this never affects a listing's position or description. You are responsible for independently checking any provider's credentials before engaging them.

5. Not for emergencies

Ozrie is not a crisis service. If you or someone else may be in danger, contact your local emergency number immediately. In the US, you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or, for relationship abuse, the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233. Outside the US, contact your local emergency and support services.

6. Your data

Your diagnostic answers, diary entries, and goals are stored to make the app work and are private to your browser or to your two-person shared space. Only forum posts approved by a moderator are shown publicly, and those appear under an anonymous handle. Please avoid entering information you would not want stored. You can reset your device's data from within the app. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

7. "As is", no warranties

Ozrie is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that any outcome will result from its use.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ozrie and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, the forum, or the directory, or from reliance on any content obtained through them. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

9. Acceptable use

By using Ozrie you agree not to misuse it: no unlawful, harassing, hateful, or abusive content; no spam or automated scraping; no attempts to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service; and no posting of others' private information. We may suspend access for any misuse.

10. Changes

We may update these terms and this disclaimer from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated version. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
